James Parakh, Manager of Urban Design for Toronto and East York District at the City of Toronto Planning Division (along with colleague Shawna Bowen) outlines his work mapping and publicizing the city’s hundreds of privately owned but publicly accessible plazas, parkettes and courtyards - owned by developers but often provided as part of agreements with city planners.
